How to Change Out a Sundance 780 Series Hot Tub Filter. Step one: Turn off Power at the breaker to the hot tub. Step two: Remove the filter cover. Step three: Undo the filter nut on the left-hand side of the filter and push the filter toward the nut and lift up and out. This filter has two parts. To separate them just twist the top grey piece. Attached the new filter pieces together by threading them together with a twist. Replace in place and tighten the filter nut to secure the filter.
